Make a row for every academic year and every summer. For each row, record tuition remission, stipend amount, payment dates, required work, student fees, insurance, and the source responsible for the award. A guarantee that ends after spring leaves a different cash-flow problem from one that covers the following summer.
Keep guaranteed support separate from competitive awards and opportunities you may apply for. Compare What the Stipend Must Cover
